Thomas Krendl - CEO

CEO, heads the Development, Property Management and Operations for E.I.M. Group, Inc. Thomas has over twenty years of upper level management experience. He began his career in the family business, Krendl Machine, Inc., which has been in the commercial and residential construction manufacturing business for over forty-five years. Thomas was also an Army officer specializing in upper level management, logistical support, and training OSHA and Environmental Compliance required by State and Federal Laws. He developed and trained thousands of personnel in management and leadership duties.

Thomas’ vast experience in management, computers, communications, and training has made him a valuable asset to SkilCheck and E.I.M. Group, Inc. He is currently working on several development projects and has done a “ turn-around” on several distressed storage properties.

He has also conducted numerous training seminars on legal issues, state lien procedures, sales and marketing techniques in the industry. Thomas has also spoken on numerous related storage topics such as top operational policies, employee wage compensation issues, and others for the Self Storage Association at national conventions as an industry expert.

Carol Krendl - Vice President

Carol is a well-known industry expert and storage owner that has been involved with self-storage industry since 1984. Carol worked as a Corporate Trainer for a large self-storage developer with sixty-nine self storage properties. She has written many articles on a variety of self-storage topics, including a quarterly newsletter on sales and customer service. Carol has conducted seminars for self-storage owners and managers on storage related topics and is considered an expert in all aspects of the self-storage industry. Carol served as the President of the Western Region Board of the Self-Storage Association. She has served on the National Board of Directors of the Self-Storage Association for over nine years and has served as the Treasurer and Secretary on the Executive Committee from 1998-2001. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors (and is a co-founder) of the newly formed California Self Storage Association.

Charlene Amarante - Operations Manager

Charlene is a graduate from State University of New York at Buffalo in Business Administration and Accounting. Prior to joining the E.I.M., Inc. team Charlene had 22 years of accounting and managerial experience. She has worked in the storage industry since 2001. During that time, she has held a variety of positions in SkilCheck’s organization. Charlene has been a speaker for the Self Storage Association and is the Editor of SkilCheck’s Sales and Customer Service Newsletter.

Timothy Waters - Director of Operations

A graduate from California State University Sacramento, Business Administration – Human Resource Management, Timothy has been actively involved independently in Financial Advising and Mortgage Planning for both residential and commercial clients since 2001. During his career in the Financial Services Industry, he has conducted numerous sales, product and training seminars for colleagues, professional associations and the general public. Although new to the Storage Industry, Timothy’s professionalism, resourcefulness and in depth experience in sales, training, finance, in addition to his skills in working with people makes him a valuable asset to EIM, Inc.
